A client of ours operating in Architecture, is searching for a Senior Architect to lead, design and manage projects from concept to completion, and contribute to strategic design development across our portfolio.
Responsibilities:
- Lead architectural design and project development from concept to completion
- Develop and coordinate detailed construction drawings and ensure compliance with local regulations
- Collaborate effectively with engineers, consultants, and contractors
- Coordinate project timelines, budgets, and client requirements
- Supervise on-site works, ensuring design intent and quality standards are met
- Resolve design and technical issues with a hands-on, solutions-oriented approach
- Apply sustainable design principles and spatial efficiency across projects
- Support and mentor junior team members
- Contribute to internal design reviews and company-wide architectural standards
Requirements
- Solid understanding of structural systems and construction processes
- Familiarity with Maltese building codes and planning regulations
- Strong portfolio of built or ongoing residential work
- Strong leadership, communication, and time management skills
- Experience coordinating teams and managing stakeholders
Education and Experience
- Degree in Architecture with a minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in residential projects
- Degree in Architecture with a minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in residential projects
- Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of ArchiCAD is a strong advantage
