A KONNEKT candidate profile gives you complete access to the information you have shared with KONNEKT. Through your profile you can add, edit and delete information related to your personal details, work experience, education and job alerts. You will also have full visibility for which roles you are being considered for, the status of your application, as well as allowing us to get in touch with you whenever a vacancy that suits your preferences arises.

Creating and using of a profile on konnekt.com is free of charge. The service of helping candidates find jobs is free and this is a right enshrined in the laws of Malta.

Click on the Register button found at the top right hand side of the page. Fill in your contact details, and complete your profile for us to better be able to match you with relevant positions. Profile creation should not take more than 30 seconds and completing it should take less than 5 minutes.

You can update your profile at any time by Signing in to your profile and editing the appropriate fields, as well as uploading an updated version of your CV. This will allow us to match you with vacancies that are most relevant to you.

Yes, using LinkedIn to register can save some valuable time. Simply click the LinkedIn register button on the Register page, and enter your LinkedIn login details. We never post anything on your LinkedIn profile.

We take your privacy seriously. When you create a profile or apply for a vacancy on konnekt.com, your details are registered in our database and access is only given to recruiters at KONNEKT Search & Selection.

No one outside KONNEKT has access to this profile, its contents or any abbreviated version of the information we hold. You can be reassured of our confidentiality. We never forward any details to potential employers before acquiring your authorisation to do so. If you are shortlisted for any vacancy, we will meet and give you all the details about the client and the role. If all is to your expectation and you fit the job description, we will ask for your permission to proceed with your application and forward our recommendations and your details to the prospective employer. Your CV is only passed on to the client with your consent.

Click on the ‘Sign in’ button at the top right hand side of the page. Click on the Recover link. Insert your registered email address and follow the link sent by email.

It is not necessary to add a profile picture. If you do add a picture, it is advised to upload a portrait photo.

To apply for a job on the KONNEKT website, click on the “Jobs” tab in the main menu. Search for your preferred role, or browse through all the roles. To apply for a job simply click on the orange "Apply now" button which can be found on the right hand side of the specific job description page. You will be asked to Sign in to your account or Register. Creating a profile will allow you to follow the status of your application and apply for other roles without have to re-attach your CV.

It is more efficient to apply online through your KONNEKT profile. If you are having trouble doing so, you can contact us on support@konnekt.com and we'd be happy to help you sort out the issue.

A covering or motivational letter is not necessary, however it helps highlight any relevant information from your CV, and more.

All vacancies you apply for are linked to your most recent CV . You can attach a covering letter if you would like to highlight specific skills or experiences relevant to that particular job application. If you would like to update your CV, you can do so by logging in to your profile.

When you apply for a position, an email is sent to confirm your application. You can also follow the status of your application through your profile. Simply sign in to your profile, click on the Applications tab and follow any updates on your application.

A brief description of the client/employer is given with each advertised vacancy. More information on the role, package and client will be discussed during the preliminary interview with candidates.

No documents are necessary for the first interview at KONNEKT. It is advisable to update your CV on your KONNEKT profile. This will be discussed with the recruiter.

The dress code for all interviews is smart.

KONNEKT office in San Gwann Industrial Estate is the usual venue, however other locations can be suggested if there are valid reasons, to put the candidate at ease. Have a look at the map.

We take our Privacy Policy seriously. Nothing said during the interview is discussed outside the KONNEKT office. Our office is purposely built with a separate entry and exit route so that candidates never meet.

Once you have registered a profile on our system, it is recommended that you activate the job alert system by adding the tags which are relevant to the type of job you are searching for. Our Recruitment Specialists do their best to propose and refer you to other roles you might be eligible for. It is recommended to keep an open communication channel with your KONNEKT representative.

You can update your preferences by logging in to your KONNEKT profile and updating your tags in the Job Alerts tab.

Yes. Once logged in, you can add and remove email addresses from the Settings tab. Additional emails added need to be verified by clicking on the activation code sent via email to the new email address added.

Once logged in to your profile, you can change your password by from the Settings tab.

KONNEKT will never forward any information including but not limited to CVs (blanked out or otherwise), details or abbreviated information to employers without your specific consent. We believe that you should know who has access to this information.

This depends on whether the Recruitment Specialist needs to wait for the closing date, prior to short listing and other factors. However, it is advisable to ask for feedback if you have not been contacted after a week. Most applications are actioned within 48 hours.

You can speak to the person you feel most comfortable with. It is advisable that you have met your representative. We do not pay commission and speaking to different people will not create any issues for us.

The CV can be uploaded in the following formats: Word (doc), Word Open XML (docx), WPS, PDF, txt, rich text (rtf), OpenDocument text (odt).

FAQs for Employers

We take our confidentiality agreement with candidates seriously and thus we always advise candidates who the client is prior to sending any CVs. This enables candidates to have more control over their applications as well as ensures we avoid possible disappointments at a later stage once the candidate is shortlisted for an interview.

We handle all application in confidence and it is for this reason that the company details are not disclosed at advertising stage. Should a candidate be a current company employee we will close off the application discreetly without this disclosing information to either employer or the candidate. Should the employer wish to consider previously employed employees we will inform the candidate first to confirm interest and proceed with the process as usual.
