A Konnekt candidate profile gives you complete access to the information you have shared with Konnekt. Through your profile you can add, edit and delete information related to your personal details, work experience, education and job alerts. You can also apply for roles through your Konnekt profile. You will have full visibility to monitor the status of your applications. Your profile will show us your job preferences which allows us to get in touch with you whenever a related vacancy arises.

Creating and using a profile on konnekt.com is free of charge. The service of helping candidates find jobs is free for jobseekers, and this is a right enshrined in the laws of Malta.

Click on the Upload your CV button found at the top right hand side of the page. Fill in your contact details, work experience, education background and preferences to help us match you with relevant positions. It is important to load an updated CV, we cannot do much without it. Profile creation should not take more than 30 seconds and completing it should take less than 5 minutes.

Have you had a change in your career or have you completed a course? It is important to update your Konnekt profile. You can do so at any time by Signing in to your profile and editing the appropriate fields, as well as uploading an updated version of your CV. You can also update your job preferences. This will allow you to receive related job alerts as well as allowing us to match you with vacancies that are most relevant to you.

Yes, using LinkedIn to register can save you some valuable time. Simply click the LinkedIn register button on the Register page, and enter your LinkedIn login details. We only utilise these credentials to help you login faster. We will never post anything on your LinkedIn profile. Whilst adding your LinkedIn profile is beneficial, we still require an updated CV.

We take your privacy seriously. When you create a profile or apply for a vacancy on konnekt.com, your details are registered in our database and access is only given to recruiters at Konnekt.

GDPR is at the top of our priority list and we take our candidates’ privacy very seriously (please see our Privacy Policy). No one outside Konnekt has access to this profile, its contents or any abbreviated version of the information we hold. You can be reassured of our confidentiality. We never forward any details to potential employers before acquiring your authorisation to do so. This is a very strict rule we will always abide by. If you are shortlisted for any vacancy, we will meet you and give you all the details about the client and the role. If all is to your expectation and you fit the job description, we will ask for your permission to proceed with your application and forward our recommendations and your details to the prospective employer. Your CV is only passed on to the client/employer with your consent.

Click on the Sign-in button at the top right hand side of the page. Click on the Recover link. Insert your registered email address and follow the link sent by email.

It is not necessary to add a profile picture. If you do add a picture, it is advised to upload a portrait photo.

To apply for a job on the Konnekt website, click on the Jobs tab in the main menu. Search for your preferred role, or browse through all the roles. To apply for a job simply click on the orange “Apply now" button which can be found on the left hand side of the specific job description page. You will be asked to sign in to your account or Register. Once you have a completed profile and your CV uploaded, you can apply for any job and follow the status of your applications without having to re-attach your CV.

It is more efficient to apply online through your Konnekt profile. If you are having trouble doing so, you can contact us on info@konnekt.com and we'd be happy to help you sort out the issue. If you've already had an interview with one of our recruitment specialists you can get in touch directly using the contact details given to you during your interview

A covering or motivational letter is completely optional.

All vacancies you apply for are linked to your most recent CV. You can attach a covering letter if you would like to highlight specific skills or experiences relevant to that particular job application. If you would like to update your CV, you can do so by logging into your profile.

When you apply for a position, you will be redirected to a landing page to confirm the submission of your application. You can also follow the status of your application through your profile. Simply sign in to your profile, click on the Applications tab and follow any updates on your application.

A brief description of the client/employer is given with each advertised vacancy. More information on the role, package and client will be discussed during the preliminary interview with your recruiter if you are shortlisted for the role.

No documents are necessary for the first interview at Konnekt. It is very important that you have an updated CV available on your Konnekt profile since this is what the recruitment specialist will base your interview on.

The dress code for interviews is smart, whether when it’s with Konnekt or with a respective client/employer.

Your health and safety, alongside that of our teams, remains our primary focus. As COVID-19 continues to impact all of us, we are mostly conducting interviews online. You will have the opportunity to inform us of your preferred mode of communication for the interview however you will still have the option of coming to our offices located in San Gwann Industrial Estate. Other locations can be suggested if there are valid reasons for the jobseeker's convenience. Konnekt offices are located at this location.

We take our Privacy Policy very seriously. Nothing said during the interview is discussed outside the Konnekt office. Our office is purposely built with a separate entry and exit route so that candidates never meet, to preserve your confidentiality. It is very important you accept our Privacy Policy as soon as you register a Konnekt profile.

Once you have registered a profile on our system, it is recommended that you activate the job alert system by adding the tags which are relevant to the type of job you are searching for. Our recruitment specialists will also propose and refer you to other roles you might be eligible for. It is recommended to keep an open communication channel with your Konnekt recruiter.

You can update your preferences by logging in to your Konnekt profile and updating your tags in the Job Alerts tab.

Yes. Once logged in, you can add and remove email addresses from the Settings tab. Additional emails added need to be verified by clicking on the activation code sent via email to the new email address added. It is not recommended that you use your work email address.

Once logged in to your profile, you can change your password from the Settings tab.

Konnekt will never forward any information including but not limited to CVs (blanked out or otherwise), details or abbreviated information to employers without your specific consent. We believe that you should know who has access to this information.

Shortlisting starts after the application closing date of a role. We try to keep response time to a minimum, however there are several factors that come into the recruitment process. Our recruitment specialists are working hard to process your application, however it is advisable to ask for feedback if you have not been contacted after a week. Most applications are actioned within 48 hours.

You will mostly liaise with the recruiter you’ve had the interview with however we work as one at Konnekt. Your profile is discussed internally between the teams to enhance your chances of being matched to the right role so you may be contacted by other recruiters handling these roles. However, feel free to keep in touch with the recruiter you feel most comfortable with.

The CV can be uploaded in the following formats: Word (doc), Word Open XML (docx), WPS, PDF, txt, rich text (rtf), OpenDocument text (odt). However, we recommend uploading as a PDF as this is the preferred format.

You can choose how often to receive job notifications. However, the frequency option you choose might not necessarily determine how often you will actually receive job notifications. Even if the daily option is chosen as a preference, you may still not receive daily alerts. This is because we avoid sending you duplicate jobs and it also depends on the number of vacant jobs we have that match your preferences.

The relocation questionnaire is specifically targeted for our overseas candidates to help us with our pre-selection process. It is very important you fill it in and return it to us as soon as possible.

FAQs for Employers

We handle all application in confidence and it is for this reason that the company details are not disclosed at advertising stage. Should a candidate be a current company employee we will close off the application discreetly without disclosing information to either employer or the candidate. Should the employer wish to consider previously employed employees we will inform the candidate first to confirm interest and proceed with the process as usual.
