Our client is a leading financial institution who are looking to strengthen their IT Support team and bring in a Technical Support Engineer to provide Level 1 support
Responsibilities:
Perform daily Core Business Systems and infrastructure operations, ensuring hardware, software, and business applications run smoothly.
Provide timely IT support for desktop/laptop systems, assist with helpdesk analysis, and deliver on-site support to remote locations.
Administer key systems including PABX, network services, user accounts, and access rights.
Support Data Centre operations and carry out backups, restores, and other disaster recovery tasks.
Conduct routine checks on networks, hardware, and software, maintaining accurate operational records.
Share technical knowledge, support data requests, educate end users, and maintain strong collaboration within the IT team.
Requirements
MCAST or University Degree in an IT Field
Familiar with Active Directory, Microsoft Office 365
be familiar with database reporting and SQL
A team player
A basic understanding of the IT sector is highly desirable
