Junior IT Support

  Central Malta  |  €25,000 - €35,000 Annually 

Our client is a leading financial institution who are looking to strengthen their IT Support team and bring in a Technical Support Engineer to provide Level 1 support

Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily Core Business Systems and infrastructure operations, ensuring hardware, software, and business applications run smoothly.
  • Provide timely IT support for desktop/laptop systems, assist with helpdesk analysis, and deliver on-site support to remote locations.
  • Administer key systems including PABX, network services, user accounts, and access rights.
  • Support Data Centre operations and carry out backups, restores, and other disaster recovery tasks.
  • Conduct routine checks on networks, hardware, and software, maintaining accurate operational records.
  • Share technical knowledge, support data requests, educate end users, and maintain strong collaboration within the IT team.

Requirements

  • MCAST or University Degree in an IT Field
  • Familiar with Active Directory, Microsoft Office 365
  • be familiar with database reporting and SQL
  • A team player
  • A basic understanding of the IT sector is highly desirable
  • Any IT Support experience is highly desirable
