Junior IT Services Specialist

About the Role

Our client is looking for a dynamic Junior IT Services Specialist to be the primary point of contact for technical support. 

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot the best solution based on the issue and details provided by customers.
• Help the customer through the problem-solving process.
• Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel and record events and problems and their resolution in logs.
• Follow-up and update customer status and information.
• Pass on any feedback or suggestions by customers to the appropriate internal team.
• Troubleshoot first line of support issues
• Provide end-to-end support for development-led solutions, including QA testing, UAT, and technical training for project management teams.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in a similar technical support role.
• Good diganostic and problem-solving skills
• In depth understanding of diverse computer systems and networks.
• Good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles.

Education and Experience

• Degree or diploma in Computer Science, IT, or a closely aligned technical field.
• Located in Malta
