IT Systems Administrator

Our client, operating in the shipping and logistics industry is looking for an IT Systems Administrator to join their growing team.

What you'll be doing:

• Ensuring effective and timely resolution of IT issues, guided by department superiors, across Level 2 issues
• Managing and configuring user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
• Assisting in the implementation and improvement of IT policies, procedures, and documentation
• Participating in system upgrades, rollouts, and hardware/software deployment projects.
• Monitoring system performance and proactively identifying potential issues.
• Supporting end-users by troubleshooting technical issues both remotely and onsite.
• Liaising with third-party vendors and service providers as needed.
• Staying up to date with emerging technologies to contribute to continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Good understanding of networking, including subnetting, TCP/IP, and VLANs
• Experienced with Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft Data Directory
• Basic knowledge of VMware and how virtualization works
• Fluency in Maltese is a must

Education and Experience

• Minimum MQF Level 4 related to IT
• 2 years’ experience in an IT administration and support role
