IT Support Technician

  Central Malta  |  €25,000 - €35,000 Annually 

Our client, a well-established IT services and support provider in Malta, is looking for an experienced IT Support Technician to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience and will be a key player in delivering high-quality on-site and remote support across a diverse client portfolio, with a strong focus on end-user, network, and hardware support.

Responsibilities

  • Provide first- and second-line IT support to a diverse client base, both remotely and on-site.
  • Install, configure, and maintain end-user hardware, including desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues related to routers, switches, and Wi-Fi infrastructure.
  • Assist with the setup, configuration, and maintenance of core infrastructure such as servers, firewalls, and backup solutions.
  • Document, track, and resolve all support requests within the company's ticketing system.
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors and escalate complex issues when required.
  • Administer and support users on Microsoft 365, including Teams, SharePoint, and other related cloud services.

Requirements

  • Driving license and car is a plus but not required
  • Strong proficiency with Windows OS environments and hardware diagnostics.
  • Hands-on experience managing and troubleshooting network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls, Wi-Fi).
  • Experience with core IT services including Active Directory and Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint, etc.)
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with experience supporting end-users directly.
  • A strong command of the English language

Education and Experience

  • 1-3 years of experience in IT support or Admin
