IT Support Team Lead

  Central Malta  |  €45,000 - €55,000 Annually 

Due to company expansion, our client, a well established IT company, is looking to recruit an experienced IT Support Team Leader to join their IT department.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the IT support team, including training and performance evaluations.
  • Oversee daily IT support operations to ensure timely issue resolution.
  • Develop and enforce support policies to improve service quality.
  • Analyze support metrics to identify trends and drive improvements.
  • Collaborate with other teams to support and integrate network infrastructure.
  • Handle escalated technical issues and ensure compliance with security protocols.

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience in IT Support
  • 2 years of experience in a leadership role
  • Strong understanding of networking, including LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and VPN
  • Certifications like CCNA, CCNP are highly desirable
  • Excellent communication and problem solving skills
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team

Education and Experience

  • Degree in IT, Computer Science or a related field
