A new opportunity as a Junior IT Support has opened to deliver technical support to users and external business partners while maintaining and optimizing the performance of systems, hardware, and software.
What you'll be doing
Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network issues across all company offices.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and escalate complex incidents when necessary.
Install, configure, and maintain IT systems, software, and equipment.
Train and assist users to enhance their understanding and effective use of technology.
Manage user accounts and access rights in accordance with security policies.
Maintain an accurate inventory of IT assets, including hardware and software licenses.
Support the implementation of IT security protocols and procedures.
Monitor and perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal system and network performance.
Collaborate with internal teams and coordinate with external vendors to resolve technical issues.
Requirements
Minimum 1 year of experience in IT Support / Systems Administration
Strong knowledge of windows operating systems.
Must be able to communicate in English and Maltese
Basic understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN, WAN, routers, switches, and wireless technologies.
A valid Driving Licence is required
Education and Experience
Bachelor`s degree in Computer Science, Information technology or related field.
