Our client in the manufacturing industry is looking for an enthusiastic person to join their IT Team in a junior role, helping to keep their core systems running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide ongoing support to users, helping them resolve technical issues and ensuring smooth operation of IT systems.
Work closely with internal teams and external vendors to understand requirements, troubleshoot problems, and implement approved solutions.
Prepare test data, perform system testing and user acceptance testing (UAT), and maintain accurate documentation and guides for operational processes.
Assist in the development and upkeep of internal applications, supporting business needs as they evolve.
Create and maintain reports and dashboards to deliver actionable insights for decision-making.
Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, escalating to your manager when needed.
Adapt to and learn the company’s proprietary coding language, supporting ongoing system improvements.
Requirements
Experience querying databases using SQL or similar languages.
Willingness to learn a proprietary ERP language.
Familiarity with any other programming languages is a plus.
Strong people skills.
Understanding and experience of Business Analysis, BI reporting tools and Salesforce environments in a plus
A positive attitude and eagerness to learn and grow within the organisation.
Education and Experience
Relevant IT Qualification (Bachelors or Level 5 Diploma)
