Konnekt forms part of a consortium handling temporary employment for the European Border and Coast Guard Agency, commonly known as Frontex, based in Warsaw, Poland. We are looking for a Poland-based IT Assistant to form part of the interim staff of FRONTEX who will provide support in specific areas.
This role is posted for Talent Pool purposes.
Indicative tasks:
To provide basic support in administration of different IT systems;
To consolidate access management services to different IT systems;
To support the workflow and tasks of the entity by processing and monitoring the incoming requests;
To support to end user specific IT systems testing;
To maintain data and data bases;
To prepare and follow-up IT-related reports.to support with creation of user guidelines and support materials.
Essential Requirements
Successfully completed secondary or higher education, preferably in the field of IT.
At least 2 years of professional experience after secondary school:
In the field of computer networks and systems, software and communication maintenance, or
In the field related to inventory control or warehouse environment maintenance or management.
Experience in assisting users with queries or problems related to PCs, peripherals, networks and office automation tools (MS-Office);
Experience in diagnosing and resolving incidents and service requests;
Good knowledge on Microsoft Operating Systems and Microsoft Technologies – to be verified at the interview;
Computer skills:
Very good knowledge on Microsoft Operating
Systems and Microsoft Technologies support;
Very good knowledge of hardware environment (PC, printers);
Very good skills in the main MS Office software (mostly MS Excel);
Language skills:
Very good command of spoken English (at least B2)

Additional education in the field of computer science

Previous professional experience in IT supporting tasks;
ICT equipment, accessories and spare parts stock control;
Experience in information management.
