Our client in the Insurance industry is looking for a Systems Analyst to join the IT function and play a key role in analysing business needs, designing technology solutions, and supporting the delivery of high-impact systems and projects.
What you’ll do:
Analyse business problems and identify the best-fit technology solutions
Review existing systems and workflows to uncover inefficiencies and improvements
Gather and document business and system requirements with stakeholders
Support solution design, system architecture, and integrations
Evaluate vendors, participate in RFQs, and assess technology proposals
Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers during development
Plan and coordinate testing activities, including UAT, test cases, and scripts
Support go-live activities, including sanity testing and post-release validation
Deliver training to end-users and knowledge transfer to support teams
Ensure solutions meet security, scalability, and performance best practices
Requirements
3+ years’ experience in Systems Analysis within the SDLC
Broad technical knowledge across systems, software, and infrastructure
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
Knowledge of PL/SQL, .NET, Java, or JavaScript
Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or project management methodologies
Business Process Reengineering experience
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Education and Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a relevant field.
Certifications such as PRINCE2, PMP, Agile (Scrum Master), ITIL, or TOGAF are considered an asset
