One of Malta's most well-established hotel, is embarking on a major refurbishment and is looking for a seasoned Project Manager. Reporting to the Chief Projects Officer, the chosen candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day coordination, planning & execution of a major refurbishment project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee project planning, timelines, and execution
- Manage budgets, procurement, quality control, and risk mitigation
- Coordinate with hotel operations to minimize disruption
- Liaise with all stakeholders and supervise subcontractors
- Ensure all works are in line with drawings and technical specs
- Manage site progress, reporting, and stakeholder updates
The chosen candidate will be offered a 3-year definite contract.
Requirements
- Candidates must be working in Malta already
- Proficiency in MS Office tools AND AutoCAD is a must
- Proficiency in PMP, PRINCE2, or similar certification is considered an asset
- Strong technical understanding of finishes, construction details, and building processes
- Excellent organisational, planning, and communication skills
Education and Experience
- Minimum 6 years’ experience in project management is a must
- In addition to the above, at least 3 years in hospitality or refurbishment projects is required
- Educational background in construction, architecture, civil engineering, or a related discipline is a must
