As a Junior IT Business Solutions Analyst, you will act as a link between business stakeholders and technical teams, helping translate requirements into effective IT solutions. You will support business process analysis, gather requirements, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective technical solutions.
What you'll be doing:
- Requirements Gathering: Support the collection, analysis, and documentation of business requirements to ensure alignment with stakeholder needs.
- Process Analysis: Review and analyse existing business processes to identify opportunities for optimisation, automation, and improved efficiency.
- Solution Design: Work closely with solution architects and developers to support the design, documentation, and delivery of IT solutions.
- Assist with system integration, including testing and validation to ensure solutions meet business expectations.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as a point of communication between business and IT teams, providing project updates and gathering key feedback.
- Develop and execute User Acceptance Test (UAT) cases, collaborating with development teams to validate software prior to release.
- Stay informed on emerging technologies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the organisation
Requirements
- Strong Analytics and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of business process analysis and modelling approaches
- Knowledge of project management principles and methodologies
- Experience with data analysis tools and techniques is considered an asset
- Must hold a valid driving licence and have access to personal transport
- Fluency in both English and Maltese
- 1-2 years of experience is preferred, however fresh grads with the right character will also be considered
Education and Experience
- Bachelors Degree in IT, Business Administration or a related field
