Junior Business Analyst

We’re looking for a Junior Business Analyst to join a dynamic tech environment and gain hands-on experience across product, technology, and operations within a regulated fintech setting. 

This is an excellent junior-level opportunity with clear progression into a mid-level Business Analyst role.

What you’ll do:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements
• Translate business needs into user stories, process flows, and functional specs
• Support the product development lifecycle (planning, testing, release)
• Assist with data analysis to identify issues and improvement opportunities
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, grooming, retrospectives)
• Support UAT to ensure solutions meet business needs
• Maintain clear documentation (BRDs, PRDs, workflows)
• Contribute to process improvements and internal knowledge bases

Requirements

• 0–2 years’ experience in business analysis or a related role
• Basic understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
• Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, SQL, Tableau, or Power BI is a plus
• Basic understanding of APIs and digital products
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

Education and Experience

• Degree in Computer Science, IT, Information Systems, or a related field preferred.
• Experience with process mapping tools (e.g. Visio, Lucidchart) is a plus.
• Candidates with exposure to fintech, payments, or regulated environments given preference.
