ICT Business Analyst

A well-established corporate services company based in a central island location is looking for an ICT Business Analyst. This hybrid-role offers flexible hours and involves supporting the organisation’s digital transformation projects.

What You’ll Do:

• Serve as the key link between business units and the IT function, ensuring clear communication and smooth delivery of technology projects.
• Lead and coordinate digital transformation initiatives from concept to implementation.
• Support and enhance project management standards, documentation, and reporting mechanisms.
• Gather, analyse, and translate business requirements into actionable specifications and functional deliverables.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes, automate workflows, and optimise operational efficiency.
• Develop robust project tracking and reporting structures to monitor progress, resource use, and outcomes.
• Prepare and present regular updates and project insights to management and key stakeholders.
• Conduct post-project evaluations, capturing lessons learned and recommending improvements.

Requirements

• Familiarity with regulatory requirements relevant to the Maltese market (GDPR, MFSA guidelines, etc.) is a plus.
• Experience with business intelligence/reporting tools and core business applications
• Strong understanding of financial products, regulatory requirements and technology solutions.
• Work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be living and working in Malta.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in BA, Information Systems, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in business analysis within financial services or consulting environments.
• Local industry experience is a must.
