Our client, in the telecommunications industry, is looking to recruit a Financial & Business Analyst, reporting to the CFO to their Finance team.
Responsibilities:
Developing and overseeing the preparation of both long and short-term business planning processes.
Leading relevant due diligence tasks promptly, collaborating with external advisors, and ensuring comprehensive inclusion of pertinent information in reports.
Delivering periodic financial KPIs and treasury forecasts, and effectively communicating with shareholders, financial intermediaries, and key stakeholders.
Analyzing potential new business ventures, acquisitions, and financial scenarios.
Preparing benchmark KPI reports on financial and operational performance compared to competitors and telecommunications providers in other markets.
Identifying financial risks and opportunities to enhance the overall financial performance of group businesses.
Creating ad hoc reports and presentations for Senior Management or other department heads as required.
Conducting thorough market and company research to support long-term planning initiatives.
Supporting and managing workstreams associated with structuring and debt financing.
Requirements
At least 3 years of experience, preferably in the Telecommunications and Technology sectors.
Proficiency in financial modeling and preparing investment documentation.
Comprehensive understanding of operational value creation factors.
Demonstrated commercial acumen and adeptness in communicating effectively across all organizational levels.
Fluent in English with strong communication skills, including the ability to articulate financial information succinctly.
Capability to effectively plan, organize, and prioritize multiple concurrent projects within a dynamic business landscape.
Advanced proficiency in spreadsheet and presentation software, including Excel and PowerPoint.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or an MBA.
