We are looking for a Technical Systems Analyst to join our clients' dynamic team.
Responsibilities
Maintain a solid understanding of MPT’s IT ecosystem, including ticketing, bus systems, back-office applications, and data flows.
Assess the impact of incidents and changes across systems to ensure alignment and minimize operational risk.
Act as a technical advisor to business teams, helping them understand system capabilities, constraints, and dependencies.
Support the definition of clear, realistic requirements and provide input on feasibility, risks, and impact of proposed changes.
Serve as a senior escalation point for complex or recurring issues, performing root-cause analysis across applications, data, configurations, and integrations.
Identify whether issues stem from configuration, data, integration, or software defects, and validate fixes before and after deployment.
Work closely with IT support teams, providing guidance, improving troubleshooting practices, and maintaining documentation and knowledge resources.
Contribute to projects by providing technical analysis, supporting solution design, and ensuring operational readiness.
Requirements
xperience supporting business-critical IT systems in an operational environment.
Background in application support, systems analysis, or functional troubleshooting.
Located in Malta with local experience
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in a technology-related field or equivalent practical experience.
