Our client working in the manufacturing industry is looking for a Technical Support Engineer to join their growing team.
The role involves deploying, configuring, and maintaining software packages for various high-profile IT systems, including the Public Key Infrastructure (PKI).
Support, Maintenance & Operations
- Lead the maintenance and enhancement of the current IT infrastructure, including Windows Servers (both virtual and physical), VEAM, CISCO devices, SCCM, WSUS, PKI systems (PrimeKey and Microsoft CA), and other key proprietary applications and configurations.
- Incident Management - Act as the primary contact for complex Level 3 support across the company.
- Problem Management: Lead root cause investigations and determine the most effective approaches for restoring services and resolving recurring issues, ensuring long-term problem resolution.
- PKI Operations Support: Ensure PKI operations are conducted in accordance with ICAO and EIDAS regulatory requirements.
Deployments and Change Management
- lead the software deployment package lifecycle: planning, deployment, retirement of live software packages across the solution.
- Install, configure and maintain hardware and software components of the information systems
- Ensure quality is maintained
Requirements
- 3 years experience in supporting, maintenance and operations in Windows enterprise environments.
- Experience with Hyper-V
- Experience with network devices, including expertise with VLANs, routing and general network configurations
- Experience with dealing and supporting external IT customer
- Knowledge of audit and certifications like ISO27001 is a plus
- Knowledge of PKI systems such as Microsoft CA's is preferred
- Must have been living in Europe for the last 5 years.
Education and Experience
- Higher level education in IT, or a related degree;
- CCNA certificate, Microsoft Certified Certificates or Azure certificate are a plus
