A reputable professional services firm is currently looking to hire a Systems Engineer to support and enhance its IT operations.
Job description:
Take a leading role in the operational support and maintenance of IT infrastructure and cloud technologies, including Windows and Linux servers, virtualization platforms, storage systems, and network components
Collaborate with the Applications team to design and implement the underlying infrastructure required to support business solutions
Design, integrate, and manage complex infrastructure platforms tailored to organizational needs
Monitor system operations, manage risks and issues, and escalate when necessary to ensure service continuity
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation following project implementations
Requirements
Proficient in working with multiple operating systems, including Windows and Linux
Solid understanding of virtualization, cloud, storage, and networking technologies, with the ability to contribute to enterprise architecture planning
Familiarity with hybrid integration platforms
Strong command of the English language
Holds a valid driving license
Education and Experience
A degree in ICT, Engineering or related field or
A minimum of 4 years’ experience working in an enterprise IT environment
