The role involves designing, managing, and securing network infrastructures while ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
The successful candidate will support day-to-day network operations, troubleshoot complex issues, and contribute to the delivery of secure and scalable networking solutions.
Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain LAN/WAN, wireless, and firewall infrastructures in line with security best practices.
Configure and manage next-generation firewalls and VPN solutions for secure connectivity.
Monitor network traffic, performance, and security events, identifying risks and recommending improvements.
Perform proactive maintenance, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis to resolve network and security incidents.
Apply firmware updates, patches, and configuration changes to network and security devices.
Provide technical support remotely and on-site, ensuring timely resolution in line with service level agreements.
Maintain accurate documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and change records.
Valid driving licence (Category B).
Requirements
Practical experience administering Cisco routing, switching, and wireless technologies.
Experience deploying and managing next-generation firewalls and VPN technologies.
Solid understanding of TCP/IP, routing protocols, VLANs, WLANs, and network security principles.
Located in Malta and local experience

Education and Experience
2 years of hands-on experience in network and security operations.
Solid understanding of TCP/IP, routing protocols, VLANs, WLANs, and network security principles.
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Networking, or a related discipline.
