The Junior Systems Administrator supports the internal maintenance, monitoring, and day-to-day operation of on-premise and cloud-based infrastructure.
Responsibilities
Provide technical assistance, troubleshoot system issues, and monitor the performance and overall health of infrastructure environments.
Assist in the management and maintenance of on-premise and cloud servers, networks, and applications.
Support the implementation of security measures such as firewalls, access controls, and system patches to safeguard IT infrastructure.
Help maintain data backup solutions and disaster recovery or failover mechanisms.
Perform hardware and software upgrades, updates, and routine maintenance tasks.
Maintain accurate documentation for systems, procedures, and processes, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and manage inventories of hardware, software, and licenses.
The role requires flexibility to travel for work when necessary, participation in a hybrid office attendance schedule on a rotating basis, and involvement in an on-call support rotation every 7 weeks.
Requirements

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential, along with familiarity with Microsoft Windows operating systems and fundamental networking and cybersecurity concepts.
Education and Experience
degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
Relevant certifications such as CCNA (or equivalent) and AZ-900 are considered an advantage.
