Junior Support Engineer

Key responsibilities: 

• Deliver comprehensive 1st and 2nd Line client support through a ticketing system, providing on-site and remote assistance.
• Skillfully troubleshoot hardware and software issues while actively contributing to clients' IT projects.
• Take the lead in operational support for IT Infrastructure and cloud technologies.
• Collaborate with the Applications team to devise supportive environments.
• Conduct in-depth technical system analysis and devise effective solutions.
• Architect, integrate, and oversee the management of intricate platform solutions.
• Assess infrastructure requirements by evaluating business strategies.
• Actively support, optimize, and enhance existing system platforms, applications, and services.
• Vigilantly monitor and manage issues/risks, escalating when necessary.
• Thoroughly document post-project implementation details.
• Extend dedicated IT support to internal company users and contractors.

Requirements

• Knowledge in Virtualization, Cloud, Storage and networking technologies.
• Knowledge of multiple operating system Windows and Linux
• Awareness of Hybrid Integration Platforms
• Experience with database Management systems including Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server would be considered an asset.
• Driver's license
• Working experience in a related position

Education and Experience

• A degree in ICT, Engineering or related field
