Junior Network Engineer

  South of Malta  |  €28,000 - €34,000 Annually 

A client of ours would like to employ a Network Engineer who will collaborate with top industry talents who share a deep passion for gaming. Responsibilities:

  • Deploy, configure, and maintain network hardware and software components.
  • Implement security measures to safeguard the network against unauthorized access and cyber threats, including backups and recovery strategies.
  • Ensure optimal network performance, including target speeds, reliability, and latency, while monitoring and resolving traffic issues.
  • Keep the network up to date by planning and executing upgrades and adopting new technologies as necessary.
  • Manage the organization's network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls, ensuring reliability and security.
  • Configure, monitor, and maintain servers to meet MGA's operational needs.
  • Manage operating systems and software applications, handling installations, updates, and troubleshooting.
  • Assess current and future IT needs, plan for upgrades and expansions, and procure necessary hardware, software, and IT resources.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of experience working in a similar role.
  • Experience with firewalls, Internet VPN’s remote implementation, troubleshooting and problem resolution

Education and Experience

  • Degree in an IT-related field OR certifications related to IT.
