Our client, an international manufacturing company is looking to bring in an IT Systems Administrator to support and maintain high profile IT Systems across multiple data centres and customer sites.
The role focuses on managing infrastructure and application environments to ensure optimal system availability, performance, and compliance with internal and external standards. Responsibilities include supporting incident resolution, system monitoring, deployments, and continuous improvement efforts.
Responsibilities:
Support, Maintenance & Operations
- Monitor, maintain, and support IT systems (servers, networks, proprietary and third-party tools).
- Ensure system security, efficiency, and compliance with ITIL, EIDAS, and ICAO standards.
- Provide Level 1, 2, and 3 technical support across supported systems.
- Manage incidents, events, and problems through centralized service management systems.
- Liaise with end users to resolve system issues and assist with troubleshooting.
- Support helpdesk and internal teams, including third-party vendors, as needed.
- Perform root cause analysis and support disaster recovery and fail-over procedures.
- Operate and maintain PKI systems in compliance with regulations.
- Generate system and user reports and dashboards.
Deployments & Change Management
- Plan, track, test, document, and audit system changes with appropriate back-out strategies.
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software components.
- Manage the lifecycle of software deployment packages.
- Ensure quality, security, and service levels are maintained in all system changes.
Requirements
- 2 years experience in IT Systems Administration, infrastructure or application support
- Hands-on experience in server and data centre administration is highly desirable
- Strong written and verbal English
- Strong command of Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Visio)
- Experience with Incident Management through a service management tool
- Some travel abroad may be required (up to 30%)
- Must be legally eligible to work in the EU and Internationally
Education and Experience
- Higher Level Education in IT
