IT Systems Administrator

Our client is on the lookout for an IT Systems Administrator to join their growing team in Malta.

Your Responsibilities:

• Maintain and troubleshoot server infrastructure in mixed physical and virtual environments, including Data Centre operations.
• Administer the internal systems, encompassing Active Directory, email, backend servers, and web servers.
• Lead on assigned technology stacks and support others as needed.
• Deliver support services within established SLAs and service management procedures.
• Provide user support, investigate issues, and resolve problems as required.
• Monitor system events for potential issues and ensure optimal performance.
• Perform and oversee backup and restore operations.
• Test and deploy server and IT system patches per patch management procedures.
• Own and complete project tasks timely and to the expected quality standards.
• Coordinate with suppliers and service providers to ensure timely and quality service delivery.
• Maintain accurate Configuration Management Database and technical documentation.
• Assist in developing reports on security incidents, performance, and service quality.
• Provide administrative and housekeeping support.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience working in a similar role.
• Exposure to Office 365 and/or Windows
• Excellent troubleshooting skills
• Fluency in English
• Must be already based in Malta

Education and Experience

• Diploma or Degree in an IT-related field
