IT Support Specialist

A professional services firm is seeking an IT Systems Administrator to support and enhance its internal IT infrastructure. The role is open to both junior and intermediate candidates with varied experience across systems, cloud, and support.

Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain servers, hardware, software, and network systems.
• Monitor system performance and proactively resolve technical issues.
• Manage Microsoft 365 and cloud storage platforms.
• Ensure compliance with internal standards and ISO requirements.
• Maintain, repair, and replace IT equipment as necessary.
• Test and implement new technology solutions.
• Collaborate with leadership to align IT priorities with business goals.
• Streamline processes to improve operational efficiency.
• Oversee IT asset procurement and inventory.
• Effectively manage tasks and timelines in a fast-paced environment.
• Support additional IT projects and initiatives as required.

Requirements

• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 services
• Solid grasp of OS, hardware, databases, networking, firewalls, and telephony
• Experience with VMware and Azure cloud environments
• Understanding of endpoint protection, encryption, DLP, and security tools
• Flexible, adaptable, and thrives in dynamic environments

Education and Experience

• Diploma in IT or equivalent certification (MQF L5 or higher).
• At least two years experience working in a mixed systems environment.
• Relevant IT Certifications (MCSA/MCSE/MCSD) will be considered an asset
