IT Operations Manager

We are looking for a skilled and experienced IT Operations Manager to join our team, reporting directly to the Head of Digital & Technology. 

Responsibilities

• Oversee and ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of IT services, including end-user support, infrastructure, and core systems
• Take full ownership of incident management, service quality, and overall operational performance
• Deliver hands-on technical support when necessary, especially for complex or high-priority issues
• Manage the full user lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, and access management
• Monitor and maintain system health, covering backups, disaster recovery readiness, and performance optimisation
• Collaborate with third-party vendors to meet and continuously enhance service level agreements
• Identify and implement improvements to processes, tools, and workflows to increase efficiency
• Support system upgrades and digital transformation initiatives while minimising disruption to business activities

Requirements

• Proven experience in IT operations and infrastructure management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
• Service-oriented mindset with a proactive, solutions-driven approach
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service abilities
• Strong local experience in Malta
• Ability to work in a hands-on role with end-to-end ownership and accountability

Education and Experience

• Degree in IT or a related field
