IT Operations Manager
Central Malta | €45,000 - €48,000 Annually
We are looking for a skilled and experienced IT Operations Manager to join our team, reporting directly to the Head of Digital & Technology.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the IT Service Desk and IT Operations team, ensuring timely and effective resolution of incidents and service requests
- Provide hands-on technical support when necessary
- Oversee user lifecycle management, including onboarding, offboarding, and access control
- Identify opportunities for process improvement through the adoption of new technologies and system enhancements
- Ensure the availability, performance, and security of IT infrastructure, networks, and end-user services
- Manage infrastructure operations, including monitoring, backups, and disaster recovery processes
- Oversee third-party IT vendors, ensuring SLA compliance and strong service delivery
- Support system upgrades and digital transformation initiatives while maintaining operational continuity
Requirements
- Proven experience in IT operations and infrastructure management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
- Service-oriented mindset with a proactive, solutions-driven approach
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service abilities
- Strong local experience in Malta
Education and Experience
- Degree in IT or a related field
