We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Manager to manage, maintain, and enhance the infrastructure environment, ensuring operational resilience, security, and performance across all systems.
You will be responsible for:
- Managing and supporting the organisation’s wired and wireless networks, including internet connectivity and site-to-site communication links.
- Overseeing and supporting both Production and Disaster Recovery (DR) data centres, as well as administering cloud-based environments. This includes managing firewalls, routers, switches, servers, telecommunications equipment, and other critical hardware appliances that underpin core business services.
- Managing data/server backup and replication strategies and contributing to the IT Business Continuity Plan (BCP) for infrastructure.
- Administering and supporting the Bank’s telecommunications infrastructure and liaising with external service providers to resolve escalated issues.
- Providing remote infrastructure support locally and internationally through the support ticketing system, delivering second- and third-level technical support, and coordinating with vendors when required.
- Managing vendor relationships to ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
- Conducting regular on-site inspections of data centres and reporting critical findings.
- Developing and maintaining comprehensive infrastructure documentation.

Have at least five years’ experience in IT Infrastructure or IT Security, including a minimum of one year in a team leadership role.
Possess strong hands-on experience in infrastructure implementation and maintenance, including hardware/software installation, server rack mounting, and troubleshooting within an IT operations environment.
Technical Requirements
Candidates must have practical experience in:
Systems and network administration, including wireless networks, Cisco switches, Cisco routers, and firewalls (Cisco and Check Point), covering configuration, deployment, and support.
Microsoft Server technologies and Windows desktop environments (experience with Red Hat or Debian-based Linux systems is considered an asset).
Microsoft Active Directory, SQL Server, Exchange Server, DHCP, DNS, and IIS.
Microsoft cloud technologies, particularly Microsoft 365 (including Intune, Defender, Exchange Online, Teams, and SharePoint).
Endpoint security solutions such as Symantec Endpoint Protection.
Virtualisation platforms (VMware ESX), backup solutions (Veeam Backup & Replication, Symantec Backup Exec).
Scripting, particularly Windows PowerShell.
VPN technologies, TCP/IP, and IPSEC.
Advanced IP network troubleshooting.
Requirements
- Demonstrate strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.

Education and Experience
- Hold a degree in IT, specialising in Infrastructure or Engineering, supported by relevant certifications (e.g. CCNA/CCNP, MCSA/MCSE, or equivalent).
- At least 5 years of experience in Infrastructure with 1 year in leadership.
- Locally based and previous local experience.
