The primary purpose of this role is to lead the planning, implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the global IT systems and infrastructure.
The position ensures the delivery of a secure, reliable, and scalable IT environment that maximizes system uptime and supports the organization’s current and future operational needs.
It also ensures staff are properly trained in the effective and secure use of company IT systems and equipment. In addition, the position oversees the management and lifecycle of all IT-related assets and equipment across the organisation.
Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and monitor safeguards to ensure a robust, secure, and dependable IT environment.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key technology vendors and industry partners.
Manage suppliers, IT partners, and service providers to ensure uninterrupted, high-quality service delivery.
Continuously assess and enhance infrastructure capacity to support organisational growth and evolving business needs.
Work with internal stakeholders to establish and maintain environments that support business information systems.
Identify, evaluate, and manage contractors to strengthen and future-proof the IT infrastructure.
Ensure 24/7 global system availability and reliable IT support.
Proactively identify and mitigate risks, including potential security breaches, denial-of-service attacks, or other threats to company systems.
Ensure global compliance with all applicable legal and regulatory IT requirements.
Conduct regular stress testing and resilience assessments to maintain robust and future-ready systems.
Develop and manage a comprehensive maintenance and capital investment plan for IT infrastructure.
Perform additional duties aligned with the role and the employee’s skills as required by the company.
Requirements
Hands-on experience with Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft 365
Proven experience in IT infrastructure administration
Familiarity with global business processes and operational practices
Education and Experience
Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a similar IT management role
Bachelor’s degree in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) or related field
