Our client is looking for a technical Group IT Manager to join their new company.
This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on management to ensure that technology investments deliver measurable business value, support growth, and protect the organisation’s data and systems.
The position requires leading an internal IT team, managing external service providers, and aligning all IT initiatives with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement an IT strategy aligned with the organisation’s objectives and growth plans
- Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and ongoing improvement of IT systems, infrastructure, and business applications
- Safeguard the security, integrity, and availability of company data and systems in line with regulatory standards and best practices
- Lead, mentor, and grow the internal IT team while managing external partners and contractors
- Manage the IT budget, ensuring cost efficiency and maximising value from technology investments
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective IT solutions
- Drive digital transformation initiatives, including automation, AI adoption, and data analytics projects
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans
- Establish IT governance, standards, and policies to ensure compliance and operational excellence.
Requirements
- Strong technical expertise in IT infrastructure, business systems, and emerging technologies
- In-depth knowledge of IT security, data protection, and regulatory compliance
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 8 years of experience in a technical infrastructure role.
- Must own a car and a license.
