Our client in the manufacturing industry is on the look out for a Digital Print Operations Specialtis to join their team.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with customers on new projects, parts and products.
Support new product introduction and R&D trial needs
Provide technical assistance in personalisation and inspection areas
Provide and maintain software, inspection, and personalisation hardware for printing.
Ensure secure database interactions to provide customer data to the shop floor.
Set up, configure, and manage secure numbering systems with different database structures on-site.
Oversee and control the flow of sensitive customer data.
Coordinate with central information systems and third parties for new systems and hardware integration.
Develop methods to improve efficiency in the production process.
Meet performance targets for quality, cost, and delivery, using Lean Manufacturing tools and driving Continuous Improvement initiatives to boost quality and efficiency.
Lead the training and development of employees, including coaching and mentoring end users.
This role works on a shift basis from Monday - Friday. The shifts would be:
A Shift: 06:00 - 14:00
B shift: 14:00 - 22:00
C shift: 22:00 - 06:00
Requirements
Excellent communication skills in Maltese and English, both written and spoken
Knowledge of C# is a must
Comfortable using SQL and Microsoft Office
Knowledge of scripting techniques
Experience setting up hardware systems and their associated software
Education and Experience
Graduated in IT, Engineering or any other related discipline
