Tendering & Commercial Officer

A well-established client operating within construction and finishings, is searching for a Tendering and Commercial Officer to join their operation. The selected candidate will assist with expanding the Company's project reach through forging strong relationships with clients and competitive tenders.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct research to identify new projects and customer needs
• Work with existing team to build competitive pricing of tenders and BOQs
• Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
• Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives
• Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support
• Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
• Work with existing team to build competitive pricing of tenders and BOQs

Requirements

• Candidates must already be based in Malta, with the legal right to work in Malta
• Excellent command in English; Maltese is highly preferred
• Communication, negotiation and time-management skills
• Proficiency in MS Office tools

Education and Experience

• A Level Standard of Education as a minimum
• Prior experience in project tendering and business development
• Prior experience in customer support is a plus
