Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join their team, working on a variety of construction and civil engineering projects in Gozo. This role involves both site-based and office-based responsibilities, supporting accurate cost estimation and project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare cost estimates based on site measurements, drawings, and surveys
Carry out detailed take-offs and ensure clear, accurate presentation of calculations
Compile bills of quantities (BOQs) using site data, drawings, and survey information
Conduct site visits to gather measurements and assess project requirements
Liaise with project teams to ensure accuracy of costings and quantities
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to measurements and estimates
Support general quantity surveying duties as required across projects
Requirements:
Degree or qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field
Previous experience within construction and/or civil engineering projects is preferred
Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
Proficiency in MS Excel and relevant QS software is considered an asset
Good organisational and communication skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Willingness to work primarily on-site, with some office-based duties
