Our client is currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Cost Controller to join a dynamic Finance team. Key Responsibilities
Monitor, analyse, and control operational costs to support profitability objectives
Conduct monthly stock takes and investigate inventory variances
Prepare and manage costing exercises across various food and beverage operations
Compile and present financial and cost control reports
Monitor budget performance and identify discrepancies or trends
Ensure accurate profit and loss reporting and maintain strong financial controls
Assist with audits, compliance requirements, and internal financial procedures
Collaborate with operational departments to enhance financial efficiency and cost management
Requirements
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Proactive approach with the ability to support informed decision-making
Ability to work effectively within a team environment
Experience with BirchStreet software is advantageous, while advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential.
Education and Experience
3–4 years of previous experience in a similar role, or in procurement, purchasing, or store management, would be considered an asset.
