Our client, a Building Services Company are looking for an experienced Building Services Estimator. Reporting to the Tendering Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Calculate total costs for building services, including labour, materials, and equipment. Develop budgets and forecasts.
- Review drawings, conduct site visits, and gather data for accurate costings.
- Research market rates, obtain supplier and subcontractor quotes.
- Propose cost-saving alternatives without compromising quality.
- Prepare and review tender submissions from subcontractors and suppliers.
- Assess risks affecting timelines, budgets, and unforeseen factors.
- Provide cost estimates, timelines, and risk assessments.
- Coordinate with engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure cost accuracy.
Working Hours: Monday - Friday
Requirements
- Local experience in a similar role and industry is a must.
- Hold an excellent level of written and verbal Maltese and English
