Boat Master Grade 1

We are looking for a skilled Boat Master Grade 1 to join a well-established company to navigate vessels up to 24 metres in length. 

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the safe navigation and operation of vessels in compliance with maritime regulations.
  • Ensuring effective communication and teamwork on board.
  • Conduct regular safety drills and training to maintain high safety standards.
  • Monitor weather conditions and adjust routes as necessary to ensure safe passage.
  • Maintain accurate logs and records of vessel operations and incidents.
  • Liaise with port authorities and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth operations.

Requirements:

  • Valid Boat Master Grade 1 certification is a must
  • Good communication skills in English
  • Previous experience working on vessels would be a plus
  • Knowledge of maritime laws, regulations, and safety protocols.
  • Proficient in using navigational equipment and technology.
  • Ability to remain calm and make decisions under pressure in emergency situations.

Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday
    If required in the evening or at weekends, overtime will be paid
