Our client, a leading wholesale and retail organization in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector, known for its commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction, is currently seeking a Warehouse & Distribution Supervisor.
In this key role, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse and distribution functions. Your primary objective will be to ensure the efficient and accurate movement of goods from storage to final delivery, while upholding high standards of productivity and operational excellence.
Will be working 2 different shifts on a daily rotation basis:
Shift 1: 6am - 2:30pm
Shift 2: 8:30am - 5:00pm
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee goods receiving, stock replenishment, and inventory control processes.
- Ensure stock accuracy, investigate discrepancies, and assist with periodic stock takes.
- Manage daily picking operations, stock movements, and warehouse layout.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and health & safety compliance.
- Schedule and coordinate delivery routes based on priorities and available resources.
- Ensure timely, efficient deliveries by optimizing vehicle use and staff deployment.
- Lead and manage a team of warehouse staff and delivery drivers.
- Monitor performance and ensure tasks are carried out effectively and safely.
- Support onboarding for new employees and provide continuous training.
- Promote adherence to operational procedures, safety protocols, and service excellence.
- Act as the main point of contact for operational issues within the warehouse and distribution areas.
- Liaise effectively with internal departments and external partners to ensure smooth coordination.
Requirements
- Clean Police Conduct.
- Minimum Driving License Category B.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience in team supervision, coaching, and motivation.
- Previous local experience in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution supervisory role.
