A vacancy has arisen for a Technical Storekeeper to join a well-established company. The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient management of technical materials and equipment, supporting overall warehouse operations and contributing to business efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the receipt, storage, and dispatch of technical goods
Ensure proper storage conditions to prevent damage or deterioration of materials
Maintain accurate records, including returned goods and stock movements
Support warehouse operations, ensuring cleanliness and organization at all times
Handle technical materials and specialized equipment in line with safety standards
Assist in stock control activities, including general and periodic stock takes
Implement best practices for warehouse layout and material handling
Liaise with suppliers and vendors to resolve delivery discrepancies
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and good customer service
Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment (training provided if required)
Requirements
Motivated, reliable, and a strong team player
Physically fit and capable of lifting loads (approximately 15–20kg)
Good command of English; knowledge of Maltese is considered an asset
Basic computer skills and ability to work with inventory systems
Forklift licence/certification is an asset (training may be provided if necessary)
