Stores Manager
Our client, a leading local company within the FMCG industry is looking for an experienced Stores Manager to join their team.
Your responsibilities will include:
Maintain accurate stock records and ensure proper stock control procedures
Assist in developing and updating stores management processes
Carry out stock takes and reconciliations when required
Manage storage space, conditions, and housekeeping standards
Ensure correct stock requisitioning and issuing to authorised users
Oversee timely recording of stock movements and transactions
Ensure quality control in receiving, storing, and issuing goods
Optimise storage space and guide storekeepers on usage
Supervise, train, and appraise stores staff
Update stock control parameters and verify system reports
Monitor overstocking and obsolete stock
Organise and manage all store operations and subcontracted storage
Liaise with departments for stock planning and coordination
Oversee packaging and handling of premium and duty free products
Carry out additional duties as assigned
Working Hours: Monday - Friday: 07:00 - 15:30
Requirements
Must have at least 2 years of local experience in a similar role and industry.
Must have and excellent level of written and verbal Maltese & English.
