Our client, working in the motor parts industry, is seeking a reliable and organized Storekeeper to manage the sales of parts and as well as customer issues The successful candidate will be responsible for handling parts requests from mechanics, issuing materials efficiently, and ensuring accurate stock handling. The position operates on a rotating shift pattern and includes night shifts, with enhanced pay on Sundays and public holidays. The key responsibilities are:
- Support and report directly to the store supervisor.
- Assist with inventory counts and stocktaking activities.
- Transport goods to dispatch and reception areas (BS).
- Keep the work area clean and organized, including equipment and accessories.
- Maintain cleanliness of materials, equipment, installations, and workspaces.
- Clean and properly maintain company tools and equipment.
- Oversee and coordinate logistics operations such as receiving, dispatching, and deliveries.
- Ensure the store is well-organized and orderly.
- Generate delivery notes using a QR scanner.
- Package products based on their characteristics, order requirements, and transportation method.
- Prepare orders according to the provided instructions, and assemble parcels or consignments for shipping.
- Process and prepare sales orders accurately.
- Track and document order progress, and record any damaged products or defective equipment.
- Accurately report all sales in the sales book or other reporting systems.
- Create and maintain required reports and documentation.
- Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and use company-provided safety gear at all times.
- Prepare customer orders and coordinate their shipment.
- Load and unload goods from trucks or containers.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and well-maintained.
- Use warehouse management software for inventory and logistics tasks.

Public Holidays & Sundays: Paid at a higher rate

Requirements
- Previous experience in a storekeeping or similar warehouse role is an asset.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Knowledge of SAP will be considered an asset
