Our client is looking to recruit a Shipping Operations Coordinator to join their growing team. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the chosen candidate will :
Plan, schedule, and coordinate daily international transport operations.
Assign and communicate with drivers, clients, freight forwarders, and partners.
Monitor routing, track shipments, and ensure the safe and timely delivery of goods.
Maintain up-to-date and accurate transport documentation and records in relevant systems.
Oversee fleet maintenance schedules, driver compliance, and required certifications
Address and resolve transportation issues and urgent operational matters swiftly.
Ensure adherence to international transport regulations, including customs compliance.
Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., warehouse, customer service) for seamless logistics.

Must be able to work office based
Education and Experience
Proven experience in trailer operations is a must
Basic knowledge of Italian is required
Must be proficient in both Maltese and English, both written and verbal
