Shipping Clerk
Our client is looking to onboard a Shipping Clerk to assist with the daily operations of the company, reporting directly to the Senior Manager.
Responsibilities
Submit purchase orders accurately and on time
Liaise with international suppliers to coordinate orders and resolve queries
Prepare payment documentation and follow up to ensure timely processing
Request and evaluate quotations from shipping companies for import requirements
Monitor and track active weekly shipments to ensure on-schedule delivery
Capture and update stock records in the system
Verify incoming goods and cross-check supplier invoices upon stock arrival
Prepare NSO declarations
Requirements
Proficient in Maltese & English both written and verbal
Proficient in Microsoft Office systems
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team
Previous experience in the industry would be a plus
