As a Purchasing Officer, you will manage material planning, supplier relationships, and procurement activities to ensure materials are available when needed—at the best possible cost and quality. You’ll collaborate with internal teams, monitor supply trends, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Main Responsibilities
Managing material planning (MRP) and issuing purchase requirements
Negotiating prices, terms, and agreements with suppliers
Conducting market research to identify trends and costsaving opportunities
Monitoring inventory levels and minimizing stock exposure
Maintaining accurate supplier and material data in SAP
Supporting company KPIs and costsaving targets
Collaborating closely with supply chain and operations teams
Participating in departmental projects and improvement initiatives
Key Competencies:
2–4 years’ experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain
Diploma in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Procurement, or a related field
Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills
Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines
