Our client is looking to recruit a Projects Procurement Specialist to join their growing team. The chosen candidate will:
Align procurement activities with project budgets, schedules, and financial objectives to support successful project execution.
Collaborate with the Procurement Department to conduct market research, analyze vendor offerings, and identify competitive rates and services to ensure best value for money.
Conduct pre-qualification technical assessments of Bills of Quantities (BOQs) prior to tender awards or equivalent procurement processes.
Track, monitor, and expedite orders in coordination with suppliers and project teams to ensure timely delivery of materials, equipment, and services.
Work closely with Project Managers to forecast requirements and ensure procurement timelines support project milestones.
Conduct supplier inspections, audits, and performance evaluations to verify adherence to quality assurance standards.
Collaborate with the Procurement Department to identify and implement opportunities for improvement in procurement and supply chain processes.
Apply industry best practices and standards to enhance purchasing efficiency, resource management, and overall procurement performance.

Education and Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
2-5 years of experience in procurement and purchasing within the construction industry is a must.
Experience leading a team.
Knowledge of procurement software and tools.
Familiarity with legal and regulatory requirements related to procurement.
Written and verbal proficiency of both Maltese and English is a must.
