We are looking for an organised and proactive Maintenance Storekeeper to take ownership of the maintenance store and ensure its efficient, orderly, and reliable operation. This role is critical in supporting maintenance activities by ensuring that spare parts, tools, and equipment are properly stored, easily accessible, and available when needed.
What You’ll Be Doing
Organising and managing the maintenance store to ensure safe keeping and easy identification of parts
Applying effective stores and parts management practices to maintain the reliability of stored components
Maintaining cleanliness and order within the store at all times
Preparing parts for preventive and corrective maintenance activities
Supporting Maintenance personnel by identifying, issuing, and tracking required parts and accessories
Controlling inventory movements (in/out) and maintaining accurate records
Ensuring minimum and maximum stock levels are maintained to support operational needs
Conducting stock analysis, including fast-moving and slow-moving parts reviews
Performing regular inventory checks and stock takes
Following up with suppliers on parts deliveries
Verifying that received parts match purchase orders, delivery notes, and agreed quantities
What We’re Looking For
Previous experience in a similar storekeeping or inventory role, preferably within a maintenance or industrial environment
Strong organisational and time management skills with attention to detail
Basic computer literacy and experience using inventory or ERP systems (an asset)
Ability to work independently and support a team-oriented environment
Proactive approach to problem-solving and stock control
Good communication skills and written and spoken English, whilst Maltese is preferred.
