We are looking for a Logistics Coordinator to oversee the company’s entire logistics process, ensuring seamless communication between the internal sales, finance teams, and external logistics teams such as the suppliers, warehouses and delivery partners.
Responsibilities:
- Order and Procurement Management: You’ll receive and validate purchase requests, place and track orders, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries.
- Inventory and Quality Control: You’ll oversee the receiving of goods, perform quality checks, and manage inventory to prevent loss or damage. This includes conducting monthly stock takes and ensuring proper storage.
- Delivery Coordination: You’ll schedule and oversee the delivery of products to our customers, optimizing timelines and costs while keeping all stakeholders informed with timely updates.
- Process Improvement: You’ll work closely with the Chief Operating Officer to continuously improve our logistics processes, making them more efficient and cost-effective.
- Documentation and Reporting: You’ll maintain detailed records of all logistics activities and generate reports on stock levels and order fulfillment.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of proven experience in logistics, supply chain, or a similar role is a must.
- A valid Maltese driving license is a must.
- Proficiency in using logistics software and inventory management systems.
- Strong computer skills, including expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
- Experience with tracking shipments, managing purchase orders, and maintaining detailed records.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English and Maltese
- A professional qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field will be an added advantage.
