Our client operates in the manufacturing industry. As they are growing, they would like to engage a Head of Supply Chain to oversee the full supply chain function.

The Role

You will lead a multidisciplinary team covering purchasing, procurement, warehousing, logistics, and transport.
You will ensure that all company SOP's are adhered to.
The role requires managing material planning, inventory control, and distribution logistics to support timely production.
You will maintain and update the suplliers list and ensuring supplier compliance is key.
You will also collaborate with global supply chain counterparts.
You will manage warehouse systems and ensure that all products are maintained within the expected company specifications.
Budget management, cost efficiencies, and continuous improvement initiatives form an important part of the job.
Strong focus on health, safety, and environmental standards within the department is essential.

Requirements

Preferably have a degree in Supply Chain
You must have strong leadership skills
Have extensive experience in logistics
Have excllent communication skills
