Our Client, a fast-growing retailer of high-quality electronic products is looking for an experienced Deliveries Coordinator. The Deliveries Coordinator oversees all delivery operations across Malta and Gozo. The role includes planning daily delivery schedules, supporting delivery staff, handling customer communication, and ensuring all deliveries run smoothly and safely. Reporting to the company CEO, your responsibilities will include:
- Plan and assign daily delivery routes and prepare pick lists.
- Confirm deliveries with clients and coordinate with purchasing on pending stock.
- Monitor deliveries throughout the day and resolve issues or delays.
- Act as the link between drivers, warehouse staff, and customer service.
- Handle customer queries and complaints.
- Keep accurate delivery and performance records.
- Brief, guide, and train delivery personnel.
- Ensure delivery vehicles are serviced and roadworthy.
- Assist with hiring and onboarding of drivers.
- Work with management to improve efficiency and achieve KPIs.
Requirements
- Must hold an excellent level of written and verbal Maltese and English
- Experience in logistics and transport.
- Valid Maltese driving licence.
- Good computer skills (Excel, email).
- Knowledge of Malta’s delivery routes.
- Strong communication, leadership, and customer service skills.
- Ability to solve problems and stay calm under pressure.
- Good organisation and attention to detail.
