Our client is currently seeking a proactive and well-organized Client Support Officer to join their Ship Supply Team on a part-time basis. This role plays a key part in supporting the team’s operations and ensuring client expectations are consistently met. The position is based in Malta, with working hours starting at 13:00 (1:00 PM) onwards, Monday to Friday and the candidate will be reporting to the Procurement Manager.
The Key Responsibilities are:
Process client quotations and orders using the Group’s internal systems.
Request pricing from suppliers and follow up on outstanding quotations.
Track and manage received prices, ensuring timely forwarding of offers to clients.
Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries.
Negotiate prices, delivery schedules, and discounts with suppliers.
Coordinate procurement activities to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
Prepare and issue purchase orders via the company’s procurement platform.
Assist with other tasks as required to support the team’s objectives.
Requirements
Strong computer literacy and fluent in both Maltese and English, written and spoken.
Prior experience in a similar role, ideally in procurement, logistics, or ship supply.
Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrates a solid understanding of sourcing and supplier management best practices.
Highly organized, able to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
Skilled negotiator with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Maintains a proactive attitude and thrives under pressure.
A Police Conduct certificate will be required at final job offer stage
