Test Analyst

Our client, operating in the Payments industry, is looking for a Test Analyst to join their growing team: 

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive API test cases, both manual and automated
• Validate RESTful APIs for functionality, performance, and reliability
• Create and execute Postman scripts (including pre-request scripts, assertions, and test suites)
• Conduct integration testing and ensure accurate data flow across interconnected systems
• Automate test suites using tools such as Postman, Newman, or equivalent frameworks
• Document defects clearly, collaborate with developers during debugging, and verify fixes

Requirements

• Proficiency with Postman (Collections, Environments, Variables, and Newman)
• Strong understanding of HTTP methods, status codes, and request/response structures
• Experience writing JavaScript-based test scripts in Postman
• Familiarity with data-driven testing and API chaining
• Solid understanding of API authentication mechanisms (Basic Auth, OAuth 2.0, JWT, API Keys)

Education and Experience

• Degree in Business and IT or equivalent professional qualification.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in API testing
